Black Adder
     This is one of my all time favorite comedy series... no wait, this is my favorite comedy series of all time! Me and a friend of mine (the one who introduced me British comedies) came up with some interesting facts about the characters in Black Adder:
 
1. Edmond Black Adder gets smarter and more cynical as the series progresses.
2. Baldrick get dumber and more revolting as the series progresses.
3. George gets dumber as the series progresses.
4. Mechot gets dumber form series 2 to 4.
5. Percy gets smarter (slightly) from series 1 to 2.
 
I didn't put Black Adder 4 up there for Percy 'cause I'm not sure if Kevin Darling is a Percy descendant. Does anyone know?
My favorite season is a toss up. At first I really liked BA 3 the best. Then I started watching BA 4 and slowly it began to grow on me. I can't decide.
It wasn't to long ago that I finally saw the last episode of Black Adder. It was very sad. When the show ended I decided that this was the best comedy series ever.
 
Black Adder
In 1983 Black Adder 1 was considered a failure in the UK. It was also the most costly of the 4 series. Its jokes were considered too "over the top".

Black Adder Parte The Second
In 1985 Black Adder 2 almost didn't air. With an effort from the writers, the project was green lighted and became very popular.

Black Adder Goes Forth
This was almost "not" the last Black Adder series. A plan for another Black Adder, set in the 60's was being planned. The writers and actors decided in the end that they would end the Black Adder saga here. By the way, in the 60's Black Adder, Baldrick was going to be named.. Bald Rick.
