were in attendance at ROBOCON 10.
CARL MACEK - The
producer and story editor behind the ROBOTECH television series, Carl served
as the show's producer and story editor. In 1985, in association with Harmony
Gold, Carl combined three separate and unrelated Japanese Animation shows
(MACROSS, SOUTHERN CROSS, and MOSPEADA) into the most compelling animated
drama series ever seen on american television. Carl is currently the president
of Streamline Pictures Inc., which continues to market Japanese Animation
to english-speaking audiences worldwide.
ARDWIGHT CHAMBERLAIN
- As one of the series staff writers,
Ardwight brought his considerable experience as a screenwriter, author
and playwrite to the show and has also worked on many other projects with
Carl Macek and Streamline Pictures. His ADR writing and directing credits
include VR TROOPERS, TEKNOMAN and the documentary series THE WILD WEST
for Rattlesnake Productions. Along with his other work, Ardwight is also
an experienced voice actor and is currently featured as the voice of the
enigmatic and mysterious Vorlon Ambassador Kosh on BABYLON 5.
STEVE KRAMER - As
the series' script editor, Steve Kramer was charged with overseeing the
work of the series' staff writers throughout all eighty five episodes.
Steve has also lent his voice talents to manyl of Carl Macek's projects;
including TWILIGHT OF THE COCKROACHES, LENSMAN and most notably as ROBOTECH's
own Sergeant Angelo Dante. He has also worked on countless animated and
non-animated features and series as an ADR writer and director. Among these
are: THE POLAR BEAR KING, CRIME STORY and LA FEMME NIKITA.
GREG SNEGOFF - Series
Staff Writer, Dialogue Director and the voice of Khyron and Scott Bernard.
Greg was of the most instrumental and important members of the ROBOTECH
production team. Some notables on his extensive list of credits include
voice work on films like THE GODFATHER - PART III, GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS,
DAD and television shows RENEGADE. He has appeared on-camera with roles
in the films LADYHAWKE, MONSIGNOR.
FRANK CATALANO - The
voice of Rand in the New Generation segment of ROBOTECH. Frank's extensive
list of credits include voice work on L.A. LAW, PICKET FENCES, CIVIL WARS,
NYPD BLUE, and MURDER ONE; and the films PRIMAL FEAR and THE GODFATHER
- PART III. He has also appeared in DAYS OF OUR LIVES, and GENERAL HOSPITAL.
His work in animation goes way back to MAZINGER Z (where he voiced the
hero), ULTRA 7, MACRON 1, and Harmony Gold's CAPTAIN HARLOCK.
RICHARD EPCAR - The
voice of Ben Dixon and Lunk and an experienced ADR director on such foreign
films as EL MARIACHI, CINEMA PARADISO and BELLE EPOQUE. His credits as
a writer/director/actor also include Saban's TEKNOMAN, GIGANTOR for the
Sci-Fi Channel, television series' such as DIAGNOSIS MURDER, BEVERLY HILLS
90210, SANTA BARBARA; and the films HELLRAISER, HARD TARGET, MEMOIRS OF
AN INVISIBLE MAN, and MORTAL KOMBAT.
EDDIE FRIERSON - The
voice behind Lynn Kyle. Eddie's on camera work includes guest roles on
CHEERS, PARADISE and DAYS OF OUR LIVES and voice work in such shows as
DIAGNOSIS MURDER, SISTERS, JAKE & THE FATMAN and the new NBC series
JAG. He is also a founding member of Nevada's "Shakespeare in the
Park".
BARBARA GOODSON - Despite
her roles as the voice of Southern Cross ace pilot Marie Crystal and the
Invid Princess Sera, Barbara will probably be best known as the unforgettable
voice of Rita Repulsa on MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS. Her other credits
include appearances on ALL MY CHILDREN, SOAP, HELLO LARRY, HAWAII FIVE-O
and SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER and Francis Ford Coppola's PINOCCHIO.
MELORA HARTE - The
voice of Musica. A winner of the Silver Mike Award for Best Performer in
1991, she has been featured in other animation projects such as SILENT
MOEBIUS, AKIRA, Harmony Gold's CAPTAIN HARLOCK. In an addition to her voice
work Melora is an experienced ADR writer and director.
ALEXANDRA KENWORTHY -
The voice of Azonia and the Invid Regis.
Alexandra has appeared on many television shows including BEVERLY HILLS
90210, MURDER SHE WROTE, HOMEFRONT, SISTERS, L.A. LAW, and THE GOLDEN GIRLS
and the new UPN series NOWHERE MAN. Her voice acting credits include Saban's
KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE and LENSMAN and 3X3 EYES for Streamline.
MELANIE MacQUEEN - The
voice of Lisa Hayes and Marlene. Melanie is an accomplished actress who
has been featured in numerous television and films such as DOC HOLLYWOOD,
L.A. LAW, THE WONDER YEARS, NIGHT COURT, HERMAN'S HEAD and the recent TNT
tele-movie AMELIA EARHART - THE FINAL FLIGHT. A veteran of the stage, Melanie
recently wrote the well received musical IN THE NAME OF GOD, OR HONK, IF
YOU PREFER SATIRE.
TONY OLIVER - As
the voice behind Rick Hunter, Tony Oliver created one of the show's most
memorable characters. Following ROBOTECH, Tony turned his attention to
writing and worked as a freelance writer working on many children's animation
projects. In 1988 he joined the staff of Saban Entertainment and is now
a Co-Producer of the blockbuster series MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS. He
is also the Supervising Producer of Saban's VR TROOPERS and MASKED RIDER.
WENDEE SWANN - As
one of Gloval's Bridge girls, Wendee was the voice of Vanessa Leeds. Her
other voice over credits include Scorpina on MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS,
and MACROSS PLUS for Manga Entertainment.
REBA WEST - With the unforgettable voice of Lynn
Minmay, Reba West helped create one of ROBOTECH's most recognizable characters.
In addition to providing the voice behind her character, Reba also doubled
as Minmay's singing voice.
MICHAEL BRADLEY - Songwriter,
composer, singing voice of Lancer.
ULPIO MINUCCI - One
of the driving forces behind the creation of the ROBOTECH musical score.
His rousing main title is one of the most memorable themes in american
science fiction, instantly conjuring up the image of the grand space epic
for which it was composed for. A former international news correspondant,
Ulpio has spent much of his life within the international music industry
and is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts, and Sciences.
JOHN MORTAROTTI - As
music editor, John was charged with placing the over three and a half hours
of source music throughout each episode of ROBOTECH. With over a quarter
of a century's experience in film music, John has garnered several Emmy
nominations, most recently for his work as music supervisor for TEENAGE
MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, a project that he has worked on for the last seven
years. An expert in the field of film music, John boasts the largest private
collection of library and early television music in the world.
ARLON OBER - Serving
as orchestrator, conductor, composer and songwriter, Arlon Ober was instrumental
in the creation of ROBOTECH's immensely popular and widely demanded musical
score. A veteran in the film music industry, Arlon's other credits include
work on the films FREEJACK, DEEP STAR SIX, and numerous others.

Executive Music Producer of the original ROBOTECH soundtrack.
